As part of the United Kingdom, England is the most populated home nation with more than 83% of the total UK. Given this fact, it's no surprise it contains the majority of colleges and universities.

For the purpose of clarity we've sudivided England to into its constituent regions to make it easier to locate a schools within specific areas of the country.

These regions are:

Greater London
North East England
North West England
Yorkshire and the Humber
West Midlands
East Midlands
East of England
South West England
South East England

Of all these, you'll find the most schools in and around Greater London. Hardly surprising given the City of London is amongst the world's largest financial centres, on a par with New York and Tokyo.

However every region has something unique to offer students and we'd encourage everyone to explore the many different options open to those studying in the UK in general and England specifically.
